An established digital platform is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join a dynamic and highly collaborative team. In this role, you will help design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure that powers the platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and optimized for user experience.
The ideal candidate is mission‑driven, passionate about high‑quality engineering, excited about the intersection of data and digital health, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with both local and international teams.
What makes you a great fit
Must Have:
- 6+ years of hands-on Android development experience in production environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin (mandatory) and strong experience with Java
- Proven experience building and maintaining complex, production-scale applications
- Deep understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM / MVI / MVP) and ability to apply them correctly
- Strong experience with Android Jetpack (including Compose) and Coroutines
- Advanced knowledge of Gradle, build configurations, and dependency management
- Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection frameworks (Koin preferred)
- Proven experience working with RESTful APIs (Retrofit, OkHttp)
- Strong understanding of data persistence (local DBs, caching strategies, data flows)
- Solid experience with performance optimization, memory management, and debugging
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery processes
- Proven experience publishing and maintaining apps in the Google Play Store
- Ability to take full ownership of features — from product definition to production, independently

Additional Requirements
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong Git experience and clean development practices
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent — strong advantage
