We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our offshore team and take a key role in building and evolving Swimm’s frontend applications and IDE-adjacent experiences. This role is hands-on, product-oriented, and requires a high degree of independence. You will work on complex user-facing flows used daily by professional developers, often in enterprise and on-prem environments.

  • Strong experience with Vue 3 (major advantage)

  • Solid understanding of Markdown-based systems (TipTap or similar editors is a strong advantage)
  • Proven experience working on product companies, preferably startups (must-have)
  • Experience working on enterprise-grade products (strong advantage)
  • Experience supporting or developing on-prem or customer-hosted deployments
  • Ability to work as an independent, self-starter, comfortable owning features and making decisions
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, performance, and maintainability
  • Experience collaborating in distributed, remote teams

What We’re Looking For (Beyond the CV)

  • Product mindset: you care about usability, not just clean code
  • Ownership mentality: you don’t wait to be told what to fix
  • Clear written communication, especially important in a remote setup
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving requirements

Your day-to-day in this position

  • Design and implement complex frontend features for a developer-focused product used in enterprise environments
  • Build and maintain high-quality UI components and flows using modern frontend frameworks
  • Work closely with Product, Backend, and AI teams to translate requirements into robust, maintainable frontend solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation-driven and Markdown-based user experiences
  • Ensure frontend solutions work reliably in on-prem and restricted enterprise environments
  • Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation through testing and production support
  • Continuously improve code quality, performance, and developer experience within the frontend codebase

Why work with us?

  • People-oriented management without bureaucracy
  • The friendly climate inside the company is confirmed by the frequent comeback of previous employees
  • Flexible working schedule
  • 29 paid time off (18 working days per year, plus all national holidays)
  • 10 sick leave days
  • Full financial and legal support for private entrepreneurs
  • Free English classes with native speakers or with Ukrainian teachers (for your choice)
  • Dedicated HR
