What is your new project?

Domain: GameDev

Client Location: Israel

Company size: 11-50

Founded in: 2020

The client is an international game studio developing mobile casual and puzzle games with a strong focus on high production quality and global scalability. The team specializes in transforming hyper-casual concepts into more polished casual products, combining engaging core gameplay with deep meta systems such as progression, live ops, monetization, and retention features.

What makes this project exciting?

We are looking for a Senior Unity Technical Artist who can turn raw creative assets into polished, production-ready Unity content for a premium casual mobile game.

This role goes beyond pure implementation. We need someone with a strong creative eye who can build visual moments from scratch inside Unity, improve game feel, create animations, and work with both 2D and 3D assets. The candidate will be responsible for bringing gameplay, UI, rewards, boosters, and monetization flows to final in-engine quality.

What makes you a great fit

  • Strong hands-on experience as a Unity Technical Artist
  • Experience shipping or developing mobile games or mobile apps
  • Strong understanding of Unity asset pipeline, prefab creation, animation setup, and visual implementation
  • Ability to create polished animations directly inside Unity from scratch
  • Solid experience with UI animation, 2D/3D implementation, particles, materials, shaders, and in-engine visual polish
  • Experience working with 3D models inside Unity, including import setup, materials, optimization, lighting, and presentation
  • Good understanding of mobile optimization and low-end device constraints
  • Strong eye for polish, timing, readability, player feedback, and game feel
  • Ability to independently explore how things work and solve implementation problems end to end
  • Comfortable working in fast production cycles with evolving creative direction

Advantages

  • Experience with puzzle, casual, or hyper-casual mobile games
  • Experience with stylized premium casual game visuals
  • Shader Graph or HLSL
  • URP, lighting, and post-processing experience
  • VFX Graph or advanced particle work
  • C# for editor tools or pipeline automation
  • Experience with 3D modeling, rigging, or 3D animation
  • Experience improving asset integration workflows
  • Experience working with AI-assisted creative or production workflows

What we value

  • Ownership from raw asset to final in-game result
  • Strong creative eye, not just technical execution
  • Practical problem solving
  • Performance awareness
  • Clean, scalable implementation
  • Ability to make gameplay and UI feel satisfying, polished, and alive

Your day-to-day in this position

  • Convert raw art assets into clean, reusable Unity prefabs
  • Set up imports, slicing, pivots, materials, shaders, animations, VFX, and prefab hierarchy
  • Create polished UI and in-game visual moments such as popups, reward flows, chest openings, booster activations, item collection sequences, and gameplay feedback
  • Create animations from scratch inside Unity when needed, including UI motion, gameplay moments, transitions, and reward sequences
  • Work with 2D assets, Spine/sprite-based assets, and 3D models inside Unity
  • Implement, adjust, and polish 3D assets, materials, lighting, shaders, and simple in-engine animation setups
  • Improve visual quality with motion, VFX, lighting, post-processing, shaders, timing, and player-facing feedback
  • Ensure visuals are clear, responsive, and performant on mobile devices, including lower-end devices
  • Profile and optimize rendering, overdraw, memory usage, draw calls, materials, textures, and asset setup
  • Investigate technical and visual issues deeply, understand root causes, and implement practical solutions
  • Build scalable workflows, tools, and reusable systems that improve content integration
  • Work closely with art, design, product, and engineering to bring features to final mobile game quality
