What is your new project?

Our project focuses on data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. We’re building robust, scalable data pipelines in Airflow and Snowflake to process alternative and financial data efficiently, enabling faster and deeper quantitative insights for institutional investors.

What makes you a great fit

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow
  • Solid expertise in Snowflake and advanced SQL
  • Proven ability to work independently as the sole data engineer, while effectively collaborating with leadership, DevOps, research, and customer support teams
  • Previous experience in a startup or small company environment
  • B2+ English level with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and responsive communicator, available and engaged on Slack during work hours

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA)
  • Background in the Financial Markets domain

Your day-to-day in this position

  • Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows with Airflow and Snowflake.
  • Optimize SQL and ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with leadership, DevOps, research, and support teams to deliver data solutions.
  • Act as the sole data engineer, owning the full data lifecycle.
